What we're up to now........
Texas Renaissance Festival Crew 2011
We're starting 2012 off leisurely after completing a fantastic season at the Texas Renaissance Festival in our new Booth 239! It was so great being back at our home faire again, seeing all our old friends again and making many, many new ones! We were very surprised and pleased when the festival gave us the honor of naming our new Booth 239 as Runner Up for the Best Looking Booth in the Shire.
This is the time of year that we work on coming up with ideas for new products we can make as well as being able to concentrate on custom full outfits for people who have been patiently waiting for us to finish our faire season. So if you have any suggestions for products you'd like to see in our shoppes this year or having been planning on developing garb for a new Character, this is the time to talk to us about it!
We've got our 2012 season firmed up so you'll know exactly when & where to find through out the year. We'll be doing some upgrades & improvements to all our castles in each shire this year but nothing major and no new locations.
We'll start our season Celtic in March with our 6th year at the North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park in Dallas, March 2 - 4th.. The next weekend we head out to Midland, Texas for our 2nd year at the Permian Basin Scottish/Irish Festival, March 10th & 11th. The end of the month will find us back in Oklahoma at the Medieval Fair of Norman, March 30 - April 1st.
All Spring you will find us hanging out on the Veranda of our Booth 113 at Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie, Texas, April 7 through Memorial Day, May 28th. When the temperature starts rising in Texas we will head up to our Castle, Booth 92, at the Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur, CO., June 9 - July 29!
We head back East to experience the changing of the seasons in our Cathredral, Booth 24 at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, from Aug. 25 - Sept. 30 in West Newton, PA. There is a possibility you might find us at the SCA Pennsic War in Pennsylvania from Aug. 5th - 10th, but that one is not definite at this point. Our customers have been urging us to go to that event though so we're checkin' it out.
Then we end the year back home at the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, Texas, Oct. 6 through Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 25th! We hope you can come visit us at one of these fine faires and experience with us the fun, excitement and grandeur of Life in the Renaissance!
